Introduction
The political portal was designed to consolidate and disseminate political information about 2006 races, legislative information, key dates, and other relevant data.
Accessing the portal
The portal is accessible from any web browser at:
http://political.aflcio.org/portal
Using the drop-down menus
The arrows on the left-hand side and the [+/-] in the center and right side can be clicked to expand and contract each section for links and information sources. The menus across the top of the portal also provide access to the same pages.
Improvements and Suggestions
The portal will constantly be getting upgrades and new information sources. If you have suggestions, comments, or corrections, at the bottom of most pages, you can enter your comment.
Could you please add Bluestem Prairie to your page about Minnesota Politics? This blog is devoted entirely to the contest in MN-01, Minnesota’s Fighting First. You have two fine Minnesota blogs listed, but neither one provides as much coverage to the Walz-Gutknecht race as BSP.
Also, some of the information is out-of-date. The district is no longer considered solid-R and the National journal has moved it up to the 39th most competitive race.
I signed up to post about the race, but found I couldn’t add my blog through my own access.
